Is the floor in the first picture Weathered Oak?

Hi Stephana! Yes, you are doing great! Keep up the good work! And keep the comments coming, I like knowing I am reaching all of you. Thanks for your comment!!

HI Deborah! Thank you so much for your comment and your kind words. In response to your comment regarding the modern style ceiling fan, you were exactly right! I chose it because it had the feeling of a boat propeller. As you have probably experienced, ceiling fans are a difficult thing to select especially when you need one with a light kit. There are just not many good looking choices. But, I am very happy with this one and happy you noticed the resemblance of the boat propeller. :) Good eye!

Kim always love reading your blog and see the exciting progress on the lake place nd now the guest house. Colors are wonderful and very fitting for small lake guest house. Must say a little surprized by the modern looking ceing fan you have chosen for the one room. However it made me think of a boat motor propeller :o) Bead board is awesome and always adds a nice touch. Loved the backsplash as well.

So is your husband a contractor? When i look at your pics I always want to start a project. If only I could make my home look like you had walked in and worked magic.

Glad you had a great New York trip. Its' always a fun and exciting place to be. have a great weekend!

love your colors. I have a green bedroom and a yellow bathroom so I guess I'm doing pretty well.
